A friend and I recently stayed at the Canyons Lodge in Kanab. We loved everything about this lodge, the comfy beds, the great location to everything we wanted to do, and the perfect host, Travis. He met our every need with a smile and gave us some great ideas for meals. Breakfast was a nice bonus...so tasty!

Everyone at the hotel was kind, the owner even walked us to our room. The breakfast was delicious. Located close to many fun activities. The only reason for 4 stars is..the AC unit is extremely noisy!! Also, know this is located on the road, so you hear the traffic.

10/10 experience! Lucas gave us a friendly welcome to Canyons Lodge and was super helpful with check in. The rooms were exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated. The shower pressure was especially strong and the location was the perfect walk to restaurants in town. Highly recommend!!

We enjoyed our one-night stay at Canyons Lodge. The rooms are clean and modern. The exterior of the buildings is made of logs, and the interiors of the rooms are nicely paneled in ponderosa pine. Surrounding the buildings are pleasant lawn areas with tables and chairs. Although the swimming pool is small, we enjoyed it. We chose the optional breakfast, offered in the adjacent hotel, for $10 each—well worth the cost. The same restaurant for breakfast transforms into Sego Restaurant for dinner. If you have the opportunity, make reservations at Sego! Its chef won Utah chef of the year award, plus many other awards. Our dinner was the best meal we’ve had all year!

This Australian family spent 4 nights here in early April. It was used as a base to visit Zion NP (45 mins), Bryce Canyon NP (90 mins} and the local area. Great base for that. To Travis and staff. Faultless, friendly, genuine and more than willing to spend their time to ensure you have all of the local knowledge. The room was well appointed, comfortable and super clean. They offer free bikes for guests to use. We had breakfast across the road at the Canyons Hotel for 2 mornings and were more than happy with the substantial offerings and value. It is right on the I89 north of town, and not too far for one to walk in. The room I stayed in received the afternoon sun, and did get quite warm for me (I'm from a cold climate), but the ceiling fan and air conditioner worked well. Couldn't put a price on sitting out the front of the room in the morning with a coffee enjoying the stunning views. Would I be back? YES. If only to be greeted by Travis again. Thanks for letting my family stay and making us feel welcome.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at the Canyons Lodge for a special girls weekend in Kanab, and while the experience had some ups and downs, I’m giving this five stars because of the amazing service we received. The lodge is the sister property to the Canyons Boutique Hotel, which I absolutely loved when we stayed there two years ago. While the Lodge has a cozy charm, just be aware that the walls are a bit thinner here—you can hear quite a bit from neighboring rooms and upstairs guests. The noise made the first night tough (I barely got 3 hours of sleep), but here's where things turned around: Travis, the owner, was absolutely incredible. As soon as we brought up our concerns, he went above and beyond to help us feel heard and taken care of. His kindness, warmth, and overall energy made such a difference in our stay. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and wants everyone to have a great experience. He truly has an infectious, uplifting vibe that stayed with me long after we left. Would I stay again? Yes—next time I’d probably opt for the Boutique Hotel, just for a quieter night’s sleep. But I’d come back in a heartbeat just to see Travis again. He is a gem of a human and made our visit feel personal and special. Thank you, Travis!

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights while hiking in July. Double queen room was great, comfy beds, ac was cold, pool was refreshing. We appreciated the robes and breakfast was included. Travis left us a welcome note & checked on pool towel supply (because we took our room towels to pool). We called office due to not having hot water. Apparently a storm had tripped the breaker unbeknownst to staff. It was taken care of immediately. Planning another trip and will stay here again. Thanks! Forgot to mention that we checked in after office hours -late. Staff contacted us and left our room key where they said they would.

My travel guest and I truly enjoyed the lodge. We booked the smallest queen rooms. We were passing thru on a quick trip to Zion, no reservations and just looking for somewhere to sleep. The rooms were small, but clean, had great showers and were very well priced. The restaurant next door was great. But the people made this 5 stars. The receptionists for the lodge and the hotel were awesome. If im back in the area, you have my business.
